King was up-front and above board enough to post examples of what you call communication. Until he posts that he has been taken care of and is satisfied, concern will remain ever present by the ethical and upstanding members of this board who are loath to see a class act like King be taken by a crass, bottom-feeding, opportunistic, profiteer such as yourself.

"This whole mess could have been avoided by doing in the beginning what was ultimately done at the end."
And it could have(in the long run) improved one's reputation, rather than tarnish it. Which really makes one wonder what the motivation was behind one's action- or in this case, the lack thereof. :o

Very well stated vallie123. You sound like a class ast. Unfortunately not everyone is, though CohibaKing certainly seems to be as well.

Why no, I don't mean that guy at all. I mean the guy that threatened to beat your ass for jumping on a thread that you were previously univolved with, and instantly began antagonizing while he was already being treated unfairly by calling names such as bitch and crybaby. Perhaps you know of no other way to express your opinion, that would indeed fit with your online persona.

If the shoe fits....
Like i said in the last post, some of his posts and claims were a bit much.. And the fact that he involved third parties (i believe it was JRP who chimed in), he be-rated them first.. So i jumped in.. And i dont regret it..
Bill, you can assess the situation one way, and i can assess it another way. Everybody is different. However telling people to "butt out of his thread" on a public forum doesnt make ANY sense.. Did he come here to air stuff out and not get any feedback? if so, then say that in the first post. Then you, i and everybody else can bow out.. Until then, our comments will come as necessary. Not for nothing, but i recall You calling Bart a whole slew of names.. And thats fine, i cant stop your opinion of him; your free to post them on here.. Its a public forum..
BYW as previously stated, im happy that everybody got things worked out. Thats awesome..
And i say we let it die

Fair enough Ron, but name calling for the sake of insulting someone is a whole lot different then describing someone's behavior. Calling Bart a profiteer, or saying he acted in a crass manner, or that he displayed a complete lack of class is far different then calling a man with a legitimate gripe a bitch and a crybaby.

The shoe doesn't fit and the only thing that was a bit much was the way that KC was being treated for wanting a refund for a legitimate reason. Reread the threads and the posts that quote the PM's sent back and forth.
1) The man was sold what he believed to be, and what undoubtedly are, fake cigars.
2) Bart refused to offer a refund.
3) He went public with the issue.
4) Bart still refused to do the right thing and several on the board began bashing KC for wanting things made right.
5) He offered to involve other, knowledgabe cigar smokers.
6) Bart offers a refund.
It's amazing to me that you're actually have difficulty acknowledging that Bart is the one at fault here.

No no, im not saying Bart isnt at fault. Please do not think that..
I can see there was a little lapse in BOTH parties, and when emotions started to get involved, it got a little out of control.. And im glad it all got worked out.. It is vital that both parties always talk everything out in a cordial and respective manner. I just didnt take nicely to the idea of KC belittling somebody else on here for voicing their opinion, BUT, water under the bridge, and once again, best wishes to both patys
BTW, Bill, i have no problems with you, nor am i trying to make one. Ive done business with you in the past and you are first class.
