Sometimes I wonder if these gougers sometimes say "sold" just to gesture "up yours" to those of us that call them out, and then they repost them a month later at a lower price (but still a profit) to move them and to point out to the potential buyer that they sold a box recently at a higher price so it must be a bargain.
I've noticed a few posts where this seems to have occured over time.
And BTW, I just got a box (15) of these this week for $217, so :finger: to the gouger!
[/quote]
of course they lie and say they sold. i can think of one guy on here, who constantly lists cigars on here with 10-15 years of age, and even only a few years of age for obscene bullshit prices. you guys know who im talking about too. yet nobody ever calls him out for it. im talking about $400.00 boxes of lgc tainos, $400.00 boxes of SP churchills (boxes of 10, and 4 boxes of each btw), $5000.00 50 cabs of fundis, and all the time QDO churchills for well over a grand. they all are "sold" and "all done here" , and the thread removed, yet the guy doesnt get the feedback for them being sold. which to me, is an indication that they were never sold in the first place.
i believe that a man should be able to sell whatever he has for whatever he wants to sell it for, which is why i dont start threads here about gouging. we all know who the guys are that start these threads though, and i will be the first to call you cowards for not calling this guy out. it doesnt bother me that he wants that kind of money for his cigars, but he is no doubt full of shit when he says that theyre "sold" and his feedback doesnt represent that a sale ever took place. i have dealt with lots of ppl here who have forgot to leave me feedback, and im sure ive forgotton a few feedbacks myself, but one doesnt sell 15-20 boxes and get 1-2 feedback comments.
so, guys who start these gouging threads, why dont ya start them on this guy? and dont play dumb!

Yeah, look at his posts and check out the time he posts. Usually late at night, and after many cocktails.

Not trying to start anything here, but aren't you just as cowardly, to use your words, as the rest of the community for not having spoken up before if you felt that way about Leo's sales. There, I used his name for you.

The best part about all of this is that you don't have to buy anything fr anyone. If people are willing to pay it then so be it. The value of anything anywhere is what people are willing to pay for it.

The collective loudest whiners will always seem to be the majority and try to force thier personal standards on the rest, but thankfully free market will always win....as you say either they will sell or not. Supply and demand always wins....despite what the whiners think.
Theyll pretend to be better then others, tear down others, and inevitably make a personal attack since those tactics are all they have since they cant control the actions of others.
Watch them try to make rules to answer your thread, its like punching the air...totally random and worthless.
Supply and demand FTW.

Be sure and make deposits in all areas of your life, because at some point you will need to make a withdraw. No deposits are more important than those made in relationships.

Nope...not me man. If you had read my post youd see that idgaf what someone sells something for, which is why i dont start threads about it.
It just really pisses me off that some ppl get a pass on it and never a thread started on them about it. The threads he starts make these other guys profits look like chicken feed. Yet nobody says shit....and i think thats wrong. I dont like it when ppl arent held to the same standards.
Please, explain to me why some ppl get a pass on this?

To add my two cents to some of the comments that have been made, there is a big difference between a free market with supply/demand and taking advantage of people. just saying...

And that difference is what, may I ask? ???
