The seller has said he doesnt use tap water in his humi, i see no reason to not believe him. Im sure many of us have enough invested in our stash that were big spenders on distilled water. Hell ive got 5 gallons of it in my trunk.... and my wife better bring it in tonight! Wouldnt a closed box keep mineral deposits on the box and not the cigars?

I still vote plume.

I dont know about you and some of the other guys but distilled water isnt exactly selling at the prices of gold here in Nebraska. Highly doubt someone has invested that kind of money in his stash and wont spend the $1.25 on a gallon of distilled water!

Doesn't look like mold to me but too tough to say without a closer look, plenty of less obvious cases of mold around (like without a giant fuzzy ball).  Wrapper variance is more interesting in most recent pics....

Brad, the original question asks plume or mold and you state what you think it is....cigars humidified with tap water wasn't an option until Todd brought it in to the equation...anyways, pictures are pictures, opinions are opinions...here are some pics from a higher end camera

Todd brought it up because he knows the exact shop I was using as an example.  We have looked at their product many times and what it does to the cigars. HF says that he does doesn't use it so that's it.

To me, the hi-res pics do look more like plume, less "dusty" than the originals

Those cigars are gorgeous. If I could afford them right now I would be all over them.
Great coffee, cigars and whiskey. Love them all.
