JL, 2 drama queens bringing their pissing contest from another "private board". Leander and Myles,go somewhere else with your look-at-me BS.

Informed, before you say I'm here to warn you about smokinjet and his product,DO NOT worry,I don't know smokinjet or YOU from shit or shinola.

I think the great Hugh Hefner summed it up best in Beverly Hills Cops II, when Axel Foley (Eddie Murphy) and Max (the bad guy) bring their personal spat a Playboy Mansion party scene:

Hef: "Are we having a problem?"

Axel Foley: "Hef! Hugh Hefner! Its Axel Foley! l feel like l know you already 'cos l put your magazine up... Forget it. Listen, here's some background on your guests..."

Hef: "I don't know him or you. l think it's time you both left."

Axel Foley (to the guests at the Playboy Mansion party): "Everybody, party's over! Max fucked it up for everybody, so let's just go home."
Hey! How come "Habana" is written on here with a Sharpie ?!?

I made smokinjet so I could be around the cigar community. I have not cheated anybody or sold them crap.

Myles, you're the one who spread rumors and BS spoiling my name. I will not dignify any more of your posts with a response.

Yes I did post a few boxes on craigslist but I did not know any better. I had a few boxes confiscated.

Flying's good Myles, thanks for asking.

I never spread rumors about you Leander.  I have no bad feelings towards you, and I know the cigars you bought from our Ravinous friend are legit.  I'm not a fan of people who buy cigars from vendors and try to flip them for a profit on craigslist, but the reason you were alienated from various cigar forums was because of the CBSA / Police whatever getting involved with you, and your very vague " I can't talk, if you want to talk to me, talk to my lawyer" attitude about it.

I was told by a member that your collection was confiscated while you were being investigated, and he said that you were the one that told him.  Do you deny this? Just curious.

Whether all of it or just some of it is true, you can't blame people for not wanting to buy cigars from someone who had SOME kind of problem with the government.  Especially our friends down south where it's Illegal to import them, not just to not pay the taxes/duties on them.  The Canadian and US governments are good friends and talk to each other, so i'm sure some of them are AS weary if not more than some of us Canucks.

I understand that your lawyer advised you not to talk to anyone, but don't say that i did anything to your reputation, because any damage done was on you, all by yourself.

good luck with selling cigars. One would think after all the shit you've been through you would have stopped that kind of thing.

Great coffee, cigars and whiskey. Love them all.

Airing out dirty laundry is always hard to watch, but in most cases, absolutely needed to protect the bigger body of the online cigar community [insert last year's fiascos]. So "Leander" was outed from some forums - especially private ones - and has since moved here to push his materials.

There's nothing wrong with getting rid of your product. However, there IS a problem when you have alleged problems with a government. So is that part true? Because if it is, you are knowingly putting others in our community in danger, and that, is not brotherly conduct. I can't say I enjoy watching this, but Veritas Liberabit Vos. Tell your story in whole, without any more beating around the bush, and watch the alleged accusations go away. Because if you don't, the damage done will stay.

I hope this will wrap up soon.

Allow me to clarify, so we can finally draw a line under this business. I was not investigated by anybody nor am I under any investigation. The boxes seized were because I could not pay duty, which was a direct result of mistakenly placing a craigslist ad. I was given an option between paying duties or forfeiting.  Other than cigars, nothing was confiscated. No phones, computers or laptops were taken away (I just heard this rumor a few weeks ago from a friend).

As far as the idea that I am a 'legitimate danger' goes, I have absolutely no idea where this could come from. Any of my dealings within the community have been conducted in exactly the same manner as I would expect the rest of the community to adhere to. Furthermore, I am not someone who would 'flip cigars for profit'. Cigars are not a source of income to me, but rather a passion of mine, whereby my only interest is finding more new and interesting things.

I am mortified that people have held me up as an enemy of some sort without my having done anything to hurt, harm, or exploit a single member of the community (or anyone at all, for that matter).

If anyone could please link to some concrete evidence of some of the things I am accused of doing, then I would really appreciate a chance to confront/correct any misgivings you may have.

On another note, I obviously will not be pushing to do any business with the members of this community any more, but if anyone does want to get in touch, then please drop me a line.

Cheers,

Leander

Bob and Doug Mckenzie rule, eh?!

Leander. I had a friend Leander. But he wasn't a melodramatic cunt like you, so I guess you're not him.

Now carry on with your whiny cuntfest ya cunt.

(This is what happens when you watch a Jim Jeffries comedy special.)

As I see this one there is one member who has admitted having two accts.

My IP traces on Informed show that that acct shares an IP with Diamondog.  The profile on Diamondog shows that he is from Ottawa Ontario, Canada.

All in all that's enough for me.  Both of smokinjet's profiles are banned, Informed and Diamondog are banned, and the shared IP is blocked.
