"That is true. It's just too bad they won't let you buy/sell/trade Cubans on the site anymore"
That is the reason why the site is so good. No money and just info being discussed. The scammers and profiteers have no reason to be there.

Is that you in the picture? I travel a lot. I am not online as much as I wish I could be. No need to really be here unless I look to buy or sell an item. I can send you picture of family guy if you like. I do not have previous box as I said before. Would you like a picture of my arse for you to kiss. If I ever win another box of cigars I will come here and put up for free to make you happy. I send you one too if you like. :kissa:

No, unless he has Dissociative identity disorder. What you see is two ends of the spectrum. Cubanlover is a moron who can't make it selling fake cigars. TL makes a living conning people and is at the top of the field.

I also belong to ICC as well as many other cigar boards out there. Great group of guys (as with most cigar BBs I've seen). This place is great but one of the problems is that the stuff that has gone on here in the BZ as of late would never be allowed there or at most of the other BBs around. Some may say this is good. I disagree. The reasonthat I'm here and at other places is to enjoy my hobby. I smoke, I buy and I sell what I no longer want to smoke. I enjoy talking about cigars. I enjoy reading about them. I don't enjoy the stuff that's gone on here the past few weeks.
One of the problems here is that many/most of the people here really don't have the experience that to people at the older boards have. For example, the idea that someone could actually buy Behikes for $225.00 seemd outlandish UNTIL you find out that there are "special sites" for "special people" where these prices are real. There are ertain people who have very good relationships with certain vendors and get things at very good prices that cannot be found by the general public. Stuff that I've seen over the past 14 years would astound many of you. For those who don't have a clue they yell fake. For those in the know, they just quietly wish they could have had the same deal. Remember it's Cuba.
That said, does anyone here remember the issue a few years ago with Mo/Mitchell and the 1996 Especialidads??? This was broken over at CW and it caused a great deal of embarrassment for the purveyor of vintage cigars to be found to have misrepresented to the public the provenance as well as the authenticity of these "special release" cigars. This issue and it's fallout got me permanently banned from cA because I'd gone after the vendor publicly for his misrepresentations and fraud. He was selling the 1996 Especialidads from Humidor #70 of the 100 specially commissioned humidors. Problem was that he was also selling singles from the same humidor #70 (how you do both is beyond me). It turned out that the cigars he was selling did not have "cut feet" (the cigars in the specially commissioned humidors all had cut feet and were 1/2" shorter than the Salomone sized cigars being sold by this vendor). The vendor eventually admitted that these were not from humidor #70 but were the "exact same cigars absent the cut feet" and that he'd gotten these directly from Abel at the Partagas factory.
Wow-a vendor who gets stuff from the back door yet other people cannot??? It's all possible boys and girls.
My point is that I have no idea whether CubanLover ispeddling fakes because I have seen the availability of the cigars he sold at that price. Is itpossible/probable that they are fugazzi? Yes. will I call him a fraud? No. It would be so much better if we could merely point out the issues and decide for ourselves rather than having so-called experts tell us something that may not be true.
