I hear you. I own 'limited' stuff myself. I was more trying to address the larger forces that are impacting the Cuban cigar market.

Less value
More bling
Larger gauges
Less flavor
50 cabs to 10 count shiny boxes

etc. etc.

The Larger RG is what Pisses me off with the Cubans, we are sacrificing flavor for size.

Me?  I don't drink the kool-aid.  There's still plenty of regular production smokes with regular production prices available in the $6-$10 range.

Is that what you guys mean when you say kool-aid? I was wondering about that!

And yes I kept the Cohiba box and I keep it on our coffee table. It houses our cutters, lighters, matches, whatever. All our cigar crap.

But I had to try them!

Thank you! That is my second learning experience today (and it isn't even lunch yet). I tell you, when I go out for dinner, whatever, my friends think I am either a genius or from another planet.

See CB, that's the difference, you wanted to try the cigars and just kept the box to serve a function.  There's a world of difference between that and buying the damned cigars because they come in a shiney box, (or coffin shapped box for that matter.  ;D  )

Back to the tat blacks: the un-tubo'd  version of these torps are supposedly smoking great right now. Apparently best to age em outside the tubes. May be even better after another year. Bundles of 20 for $180 shipped. Pm if you want to contact the source directly.
