I have to say, reusing the dog excuse over and over is really funny.  Barring a thread like this, it’s true , there is likely no way we’d ever be able to catch it.  If I did it, I’d probably spend way too much time on inventing new excuses, but in reality, “if it ain’t broke…”

Yeah, looked back at my messages from him and he blamed the dog also.

Said he was packaging the bottles and his dog was doing "zoomies" around the house and knocked them over and broke em.  Can we confirm if he even has a dog?  If so I'm calling puppy protection services for animal abuse..... poor dog (allegedly)....

In all seriousness, sounds like the guy was in good standing for years and then all of a sudden something happened to him.  Whatever the issue, while there is definitely no excuse for dishonesty among BOTL, I hope he resolves his issues in life.

On a serious note though, this is not okay. We are now finding out he is using the exact same lie over and over and using people's money as loans? Not cool

This happened to me with a box of Opus xXx. Sold it to me then said he was out of town and would ship in a few days when he got back. Then the box was destroyed on the way from picking them up. Refund was sent promptly after that. A friend on mine here bought a bottle of bourbon from him...well the dog zoomies got a hold of the bottle and it was destroyed. I did have one successful transaction with JohnnyLigero though so we're 1 for 2.

Same here.  His dogs got “the zoomies” and knocked the EC Barrel Proof off his table and broke it and then he was unable to ship (after I paid).  He did refund and apologize and also promise I would get the next opportunity to purchase again.  Never heard back and I would be very hesitant to deal with him again. 

I think after hearing all of these stories, from multiple different people, it's probably a good idea that his selling and trading privileges be permanently suspended. While it's great that everyone has received a refund, it's still a dishonest way to act and not in line with the spirit of the BOTL's here.  Obviously this is not in anyway my decision to make; just my two cents

Unfortunately, his dog got the zoomies and broke the dog, so you’ll never find out.
