At first I was trying to give people the benefit of the doubt, and I hoped that maybe that was the price they paid. For instance, I bought a 10 ct box from a B&M for 175 shipped when they were first released. Why? Because that was my first shot at getting a box and I wanted to make sure I had the chance. However, this has gotten ridiculous. It would be a different story if this was a year from now and it tuned out that the Face was one of the best cigars out there by PJ so around $200 would be a fair price. BUT this is not the case! I am still receiving phone calls from B&Ms asking if I want to buy a box. One even charged my card and sent it to me yesterday without even letting me know.

PEOPLE - THERE IS NO NEED TO PAY INFLATED PRICES FOR THESE YET.

On top of that, if you just want to try a few, I'm sure you could post in a WTT thread and have some bites for FAIR COMPENSATION.

Who cares if someone wants to pay a jacked up price because they don't know or don't want to put in the work? That's their choice right?

I love the fact that this board is a free market. Always has been and always should be. Go somewhere else if you don't like it or if it offends you if someone profits off of selling some cigars on the secondhand market.
Of coarse we can all gather here and complain and let the sale threads stay unabated.

I disagree that not knowing you're being scammed and knowingly paying more than you need to are the same thing.  I also disagree that wanting to inform people of what the fair market value of an item is somehow falls out of line with the free market system.  If selling cigars here is your business then fine... but I assumed most of us were here sharing a passion for the leaf and in that case I think the sharing of information whether it be about how it's grown, or how much it should cost is perfectly in order.  Of course those are just my two cents...  :)
