This I have to agree with. I could deal with the snake oil sales tactics and just keep my trap shut and vote with my wallet, but the arrogance in those kinds of replies just irritates the shit out of me.

Well, you tried....the original post was a review but after a few negative comments about JO, the thread got moved to the BZ.  Anything in the BZ is open to these kind of posts and "coversations."

Repost the review, and maybe you can just close the thread after you post it?

Thanks for your thoughts on that vitola...I don't always trust customs, as I think they are 2-3 buck cigars being sold for 10-20, so I don't buy alot of customs, but I do like to hear about what is being offered.

Been gifted a bunch of his stuff over the years.  Typical custom rolls. By snake oil I refer to claiming the cigars are unbanded XYZ without any proof whatsoever. Why not let them stand on their own merit as “the best ever” custom rolls?

It's tough to accept when you think you are getting cohiba cigars are a third of the price.  YOU WANT TO BELIEVE!!!

Let me clarify my TL comment.  TL sold prerelease cigars that were not what they were.  John is selling ponderosas and la reynard.  He's is saying they are ACTUALLY reynards and ponderosas. And majuestos!!!!!  Lol are you fucking kidding me.  $500 cigars for $20.

Well I've like sandman smoked nearly all of johns offerings side by side with the banded ones and can't tell a difference. So to me it's not snake oil.  But I'm sure people claimed that triple ligeros shit tasted legit too so I can see why someone could be skeptical but Im a believer. John has been nothing but good to me and his rolls are always as advertised in my experience

Hey, thanks for resurrecting that thread.  I remember it well.

Johnny-O's game is clear to anyone who will look.  He will call you every filthy name in the book, but will never say six simple words:

"All my Cigars are Cuban puros."

It doesn't take a genius to figure out why.
