I can't remember if it was here or C.F., but Sig3 threw smoked cigars that were "fake" into a box with other cigars and mailed them back.

Yup.

Hope it doesn't happen to you.

Well, that would make this thread way more entertaining.  Heres to hopin  :rotf:

lol Travis, thanks for the good read.

Maybe next time i want to try one of the new over priced regional releases, ill buy a 10ct box from a european lcdh and ask for refund on the rest after i smoke one.  Easier than tracking down a 1r

Box received.  No smoked nubs.  Few cracked feet now, but money refunded so I can wash my hands of this idiot.

Ryan (ChefBoyRG54) is a good egg and completely trustworthy in my book.

Sig111 is living proof that you can be engaged in a hobby for years and still be a complete newboy. Not sure where the pants-on-the-head retarded way of handling this came from, but whatever. Every color of the rainbow.

For other greenhorn FNGs, please be aware that in addition to appearing at the bottom of the barcode, the serial number is also microprinted into the image of the seal.  See https://www.cubancigarwebsite.com/packaging/information towards the bottom of the page.

However, typically if the barcode is scratched out, they try to scratch out the microprint codes as well.

Questioning a box based on a scratched barcode then smoking 2 cigars while dragging a good brothers name through the mud is still baffling to me. This thread shouldn't have happened.  I hope others have made a note to be careful in dealing with this jack ass in the future.

Need a bar code to authenticate.
What color market?

Damn you sound like a newb.  Maybe you should go smoke fuente's instead of cuban cigars.  Less chance of fakes that way. /sarcasm

You are probably a great guy.  But you are definitely overreacting.

It doesnt need to be said (now that I read this whole thread its already been covered) but Ryan is a stand up guy. I have purchased a couple very nice boxes and feel 100% comfortable.
