King was up-front and above board enough to post examples of what you call communication. Until he posts that he has been taken care of and is satisfied, concern will remain ever present by the ethical and upstanding members of this board who are loath to see a class act like King be taken by a crass, bottom-feeding, opportunistic, profiteer such as yourself.

But how do you REALLY feel? ;)

Hey King, did he pay you back for the one that was smoked?
Bart, now that you have them back in your care, do you still think they are legit?

Bart:
I don't know who that authorized agent in London is BUT I have had some serious doubts about some stock I have received from a very well known and authorized merchant in London. Did I say VERY SERIOUS DOUBTS? Needless to say I have not bought from them again but it still makes me really annoyed whenever I think about it.
Back to the point of this thread: In my opinion, if ANYTHING REASONABLE (or even unreasonable sometimes) is wrong with any cigars bought by someone on this site, then the seller should always respond as any legitimate business would. Just request that the cigars be returned-- and when they are-- refund the money immediately upon receipt of the returned stock--no Spanish Inquisitions or foot-dragging of any kind allowed. It is just how all businesses (and hobbyists) that want to survive and keep customers happy should behave.
When I sell on this site, I am obsessively careful to go through the stock I am sending. Can't guarantee that I won't miss a hairline crack on the foot of a stick or something else of this kind--but I really try; and I always wait for some positive feedback from the seller. I have bought cigars here that are totally plugged, ugly, suspicious and more. I have chosen not to make an issue of these events and, instead, just never purchase from these sellers again. That's me. But as a buyer, you do have a right to expect a seller to act responsibly and do the right thing. I have a blanket policy that if you don't like what I sell you---you can return it and get a refund with ZERO questions asked. I suggest everyone do this, and that all buyers act like adults and not make an issue out of a non-issue. In the case of the Sublimes in question here, there was a very unhappy buyer who wanted to be taken seriously and he should have been-- right away. This whole mess could have been avoided by doing in the beginning what was ultimately done at the end.
I'm done.
