John, we are responding to the things that you have wrote.

Send them to Dallas, WTF am I his customer service manager?

But you wrote:

My "concern" is that lately I have been getting way too many messages on his product that I have to respond to.

If you are responding to a product you don't deal with, it is easier to direct them to me that to answer questions for me, as you wrote you did. That was the response.

As for your TL comparison, that is ridiculous. You are making veiled comments and I am not sure what the point is. If you want to discuss something or bring something to my attention, you already have my email and my phone number.

It shouldn't take that long to call. You say you don't have time for this stuff, but you have time to post all this. Seems much faster to just call or email and tell me what's up.

You are cutting into his business.  This is a problem.

forgop...you like Dallas have missed the message. The BOTL's that have approached me are not on the fence undecided. They are pissed off and have left the building. Send them to Dallas, WTF am I his customer service manager? You keep drinking the Koolaid, many drank the TL Koolaid until it was too late. BTW, Hutch was the 1st to tell you "I told you so" on that one. John

Actually I started the thread that he was no bueno. I'm saving the "I told ya so" for a special occasion :)

And I don't put TL and Dallas in the same catagory. TL was a thief...Dallas just has an unusual business model. I really think he tries to satisfy folks, gaining some perks for his efforts. Can't fault a guy for pursuing a passion and gaining for his efforts.

I find it absurd that people are contacting you regarding anything to do with Dallas. However I think it's ridiculous as a 3rd party to.come out and make vague accusations with no evidence because all you're doing is just passing on hearsay.

I've bought bundles from both of you and enjoyed them.  But feel free to make accusations with regards to the provenance of his sticks all while side stepping your own as evidenced on every message board with discussion of your cigars from time to time.

Have you ever put a deposit down on a car ? A house ? A boat ? A wedding dress?
Was it ever 75% ??? I have trouble even calling 75% a deposit :)

I call it a good faith commitment to follow through with your word.  How many do you think would come up with excuses after coming back to collect?  This isn't a "community"...this is essentially a cigar craigslist gets people from everywhere and I wouldn't tie up funds for those I don't know. But even the most respected people here flake out on actually following through with transactions

Wow. I am not sure what to make of this thread... TL comparisons, but such cryptic messages...

We all know of the communication issues with Dallas. John, are you saying he purposely misrepresents his products? As someone who has been satisfied with both parties on numerous occasions, I am intrigued to see where this is going.

Bill...I think you were onto something here. ;)
Be sure and make deposits in all areas of your life, because at some point you will need to make a withdraw. No deposits are more important than those made in relationships.
