Yes sir those were direct from him. He even threatened to file a lawsuit against the blogger. He went on his facebook group to get the fanboys to basically trash the whistle-blower.
First Blog - http://www.thecigarnut.com/swisher-international-in-actions-to-acquire-drew-estate/
Then the threats and backlash came and they posted this so they did not get a lawsuit.....

So now that John Sann/Drew/whoever and Swisher have united forces, customers and bloggers can expect to be sued? I wonder if Swisher is second-guessing the deal, knowing that John Drew can easily offend the blogosphere with his litigious, whiney-pants threats. It cannot be good for their portfolio.
Good for Max, though. Guess he's sitting in high cotton having been right the whole time and making JD expose his ass to the premium cigar-buying, money-spending, hard-working public.
Hey Drew Estate, :finger:

He who exposes his ass ends up
(em) bare assed.
JD aka JS should've bit his tongue on that one.

Well it seems the DE fanboys over at CATS are doing their best on damage control for their fuhrer JS. They were busy deleting threads and banning members who were calling them out to apologize to MadMax, Bubbleheaddiver and others who reported on this story or defended Max and got publicly humiliated, censored and banned.

CATS sounds like a wonderful and fun forum.

The whole situation has been truly bizarre, to be honest with you guys. I mean, I'm actually kind of glad everything happened the way it did. I quickly realized how many people really trust and believe me and how many people are two faced sheep. Either way, it's been an interesting experience. I mean, shit, even Steve Saka himself made a mention about the whole situation!

"CA Dept of Equalization"?... Wtf is that?
Man am I glad I don't live in that state! No offense to anyone who lives there. Beautiful state... no doubt. But your state govt scares me!

FUCK CATS! Pieces of shit, the little troll with the neckbeard is ruining that group. Lie noone cares, tell the truth they get pissed and ban you. LOL.
Almost as bad as a Facebook admin kicking all the people in the group then starting their own. Low dirty move, wouldn't you say TAPS86.

Not sure why JD went menopausal on people who knew about the deal before it went official. He's known to be cool. Whether DE sold bc they owed tons of money to Swisher or they sold bc it was a deal they couldn't refuse, in the end it's nothing but business. If DE's higher end cigars remain, let's hope quality doesn't go downhill.

He was probably under a confi agreement while they worked a deal out, and maybe Swisher was not happy that rumors were floating around...
