  I bought some Boli Simones from him a couple weeks back-  No problems.  Of course, had I known who he was...  Regardless, the buy went off without incident.

Forgot- Thanks, Kingantz, for giving us all a heads up. 

I called and filed a dispute, which you most certainly can do regardless if it is a gift or not, you're still working through PP, and told them it was for cigar bands.  I told one lady that and she was, "Oooohh we have a lot of disputes with those!"  Too funny.  I also called my bank and put a stop payment on the transaction, which they did, so the funds did not leave my account, however PP has now put a negative amount in my PP account.  They are giving the guy 10 days to respond to the dispute, basically waiting for him to give a tracking number for whatever he's supposedly sending.  I had a PP supervisor on the phone this morning and she tried contacting the scumbag twice with no luck.  I told her that there would probably be no contact with the guy at all as he is a scamming con artist, probably already gotten all whatever money was sent and gone with it.  I did give their fraud dept all the information I have and plan to persue this as far as I can.  Anyone else that purchased from this guy should do the same.

I called P**P** about a deal "not received" but paid as a gift and the P**P** agent told me the gift option is not intended for purchases.
Now I have to see if I can re-open the claim.

Exactly, I talked to three different people three different times in three different days and all three told me different information.  I get this resolved, screw 'em.  Check or MO only going forward.

Course then I gotta deal with freakin' USPS.  That's a whoooole other thread!  :D

Well brose sent me a tracking number and he sent out the stuff today . I messaged him asking "why does everyone say negative things about you and say you ripped them off " brose response to me was that everyone must have him confused with someone else.

Well I ordered the Partagas sampler for 140.70. When the Partagas 150A's come I have others in my collection to confirm that the cigars I bought from brose are real . If they are fake I will report this to my bank and dispute the charge . If what I receive is fake I will provide plenty of proof with pictures to the forum admins and hope they will ban brose.

But I will report stuff to you all as things happen .

Your choice, however as I advised several times already, you should have called PP and claimed a dispute immediately.  There may have been some slim chance that he had not withdrawn your money yet and they could have frozen it. 

"Brose" is smokinj, the guy who ripped off six of us for close to $5000 by sending fake cigars, even admitted to it in PM to me.  He flat out blatantly lied to you in his response.  By the time you get said cigars (if you do) and they are fake, this guy is going to be long gone with your money.  If not already. 

But hey, maybe you'll get what you paid for.
