A little light. I keep 12 in my 200 count desktop and a full box of 20 in my coolidor. Rock steady on the humidity in both.

Put the sponge in a small tray. Pour the DW into it until it's soaking wet.
Carefully stand the Bovedas up so they are leaning away from the sponge. Otherwise when they soak up the water, they will fall forward into the sponge and then they are ruined.
Seal the Tupperware. Check back in a week or so. May take soaking the sponge twice.

Carefully stand the Bovedas up so they are leaning away from the sponge. Otherwise when they soak up the water, they will fall forward into the sponge and then they are ruined.

Be sure and make deposits in all areas of your life, because at some point you will need to make a withdraw. No deposits are more important than those made in relationships.

Giver, you are the man! I have heard Bovedas are rechargeable, but wasn't sure of the process. Sounds like if you have enough to keep in rotation, you can have a good stream of perpetually usable packs :bigup:
On a related note, I recently came up on a box of 12 at 69%RH for I think slightly less than $28 (shipped) from CBid. CI has the 20 for $60 deal as well, which is almost the same before shipping. Plus, no fuss and hoping you don't get your bid swooped on.
For what I'm doing right now (small desktops), these work perfect for me. I am looking into beads or a commercial humidification device once I go bigger though, so I certainly appreciate the insight from those in the know.

This is my first post on here, however, I'm a regular over on r/cigars. Humidity is very subjective, some like cigars dryer than others. A general rule of thumb that I follow is the lower the temp the higher the humidity needs to be to be maintained at the desired level. For instance, I like my cigars at 68/68. I have a little different set up that most, but I keep my AC unit set at 65 degrees and my humidifier at 70%. I have fans to circulate the are and the end result is 68/68.
If you live in a warm climate then the less humidity devices you will need to maintain your desired Rh. Warm air has more capacity to hold moisture than cold air. So, humidity and obtaining the desired Rh is really dependent on the air temp.
