I've bought from Rahul on-line, and have been to his store on several occasions, and I'm willing to vouch that he's top-notch. And as others have said, I've paid more than this for DC Lanceros from Holts. So I don't think his prices are out of line.

F*** this thread and anyone questioning Rahul's prices!! You girls cry too damn much here!! I know this is the "battle zone" but come the fuk on!!!

Rahul is top notch and the first person I check for any cigar boxes and the guy always comes through!!!

Why not start a thread about Casa Fuente and their pricing then??? Fuk!

Happy Holidays!

All good. I'd check your MSRP though. They are $13.50. I beleive the $18 price being thrown around is Casa's price.
I could be mistaken.

Thanks.

Not $18.00 any more at Casa the last time I was there in October they were $22.00 each and they were out.
And I bought one of the boxes from Rahul since in Ca. we can't even get them so my only choice is Casa Fuentes.

As Far as Holt's I have called them on several occasions for cigars and was not treated very well by the staff.

Fuente suggested retail pricing is not industry standard. Fuente MSRP is something like 40% markup or something like that.  Industry standard is keystone of cost.  before any taxes keystone of don carlos lancero would be a little over 15  a stick.
this is a super premium cigar in limited quantities.  18 a stick is not gouging for something that is usually hard to get.

Yup...I too have bought a lot through Rahul and he is in fact a great example of how people should operate.  His prices are always fair and the OP should apologize

Just to reiterate, Rahul does not need to defend his prices. He is always very fair and his customer service is top notch. Another vote for stupid thread  :bla:

I've paid well over MSRP many a times, as I'm sure many people here have. The guy runs a business, I can't hate on the man for that.

As it stands, the only guy I've even dealt with from this site is Rahul -- And the box I purchased was $100 below MSRP. Hell, at the time I contacted him I didn't even have the cash in hand, I was just seeing if he still had a box left as the thread was over two weeks old. His first response back offered to hold the box if I was interested, and told me he could hold it up to a month -- I bought them the same week. Regardless, cheapest I've ever seen for what I got, and I received the box within 2 days of making the payment. He's a stand-up gentleman.

Wade, can you shut this discussion down please?
It's an insult to Rahul and every very satisfied customer he has done business with

Most certainly is.
