I understand guys and I am still new here but even if it is above msrp its 5 bucks total...there are higher prices that that on the board right now. I wasn't upset about getting called out on pricing I just don't like being called scum. All is well

Hey, thanks for clarifying your cost was so prohibitive. Please accept my apology for the name-calling.

Guys (and gals) here look out for each other because we're a real community of whackjobs with a shared passion for great cigars at the best possible prices. Truth be told, I don't know how B&Ms can survive when they're forced to charge almost as much in taxes as the cigars themselves.

They survive by getting into the habit of double dipping..the msrp of the cigar had a built in tax cushion like most of us know. Many of the shops are adding the state tax on top of the msrp and putting it right onto their bottom line which equals us paying out the ass!

Although I dont post here often im glad to see this thread took a turn in the right direction. I recognize a lot of names here but just dont post that often. When I was a noob I started here and warnings like this are always helpful. Might be better to word them differently sometimes because sometimes we dont know peoples situations and just because the deal isnt good for us doesnt mean its not good for someone else.

[/quote]  Cool bro, been looking to hit a B&M in Valencia soon and some other B&M's a little more south.  I may also be gigging with a rokabilly band in the Fullerton area more often here soon too which is closer.  I've got family in Yorba Linda too.  I'll shoot you a PM next time I'm down that way.
