Writing "ask 4 ID" on the back of credit cards is supposed to be helpful in preventing CC fraud.

Most clerks won't even check the abck of your credit card to read  See ID.

Actually had oone that looked the card, then handed it back to me with the receit and asked for my siganture. After signing and completing the sale I asked if he noticed what the signature had read... he replied that he could not read it, so allowed the sale...
