CB, I've been doing this for a long time. I know the interwebz can get pretty silly at times. On the old site there was an auction section, I had people threatening legal actions over copyrights or forcing people to honor $1,000,000 bids.
-->This thread <--I just made sticky if you are interested in the history here.

The page you see at www.onlinehumidor.com is the last remainder of the old site. I could have it auto re-direct to the forum but I leave it up for nostalgic reasons.

I have a discussion group on eBay called Sterling Silver lovers. Talk about horrifying. Thanks God they have a moderator (me) function. I decide who gets in or anyone with no feedback can - but that is not the problem. The problem is I can eliminate a mass e-mail to over 1500 members asking, "can you look at my spoon and tell me is this real? - or worse - spam or porn.

They should have a valium button.

Just my 2 cents.
Lots of newbies dont read rule 7 1st. And more sign ups here per month
than in the past.
Just bull in the China shop mentality, forge ahead.
2nd, some people arrive here from other cigar boards,
where it is permitted to flame sale posts of other members.
In fact it is great sport at some sites, no rule 7`s or battle zones.
Of course the new 2 strikes and your out for life sounds harsh to me
because i have one strike. Maybe we could play baseball, and make it 3 strikes.
Again, just my feeble thoughts.

I'm not asking for a vote here, but I do understand that new posters often don't read the rules first, that's why the first offense is not a perma-ban. I am considering setting the first offense at a week, but I'm holding fast on the second, once you know the rule, you don't have an excuse. The members here don't need to deal with temper tantrums, everyone on this site is supposed to be adult.

This is just a humble suggestion and may go against the spirit of the site, but make rule breakers pay. Your time in cleaning up their mess is not free, so make them pay for it. You break the rules, you pay to come back via donation, or don't come back. Just my .02

So I take it that you're not only the price police, but the donation police as well?

Cheers,

Touche.

Did get caught caught up in the moment... not about the price so much, about selling on eBay not here.

But when you are right you are right.

Will NEVER happen again.

From the short time I've been here, it seems you have something to say on every comment on this board. Your quick to the mouth, which means you probably don't think before you speak. Which is why I have the feeling this is what got you in trouble the last time. Wouldn't one think after learning their lesson the last time to tone it down? Maybe not say anything at all if you have nothing nice to say? Maybe this doesn't apply to you.
