Auctions update. They review all submissions and sometimes ask you questions. I find them to be helpful.

I have had items rejected for auction because they were too weird, box wrapped in glassine, or too new for some marcas.

I wish there was a site for vintage non-Cuban, as I have recently secured Padron way cool stuff. Davidoff n/c too.

It is fantastic to see fellow OLH members there.

For those selling to US only from US, curious to hear if you are getting close to the market prices for similar sticks sold and delivered worldwide.
Thinking about thinning the herd a bit in the next 6-12 months. Perhaps
It is hard to sell when the resupply is unknown. But that drives prices and frankly I don’t love everything I have …
So I remain conflicted but curious

Past few times I've attempted to list there was rejected due to various unreasonable reasons.  One time they told me the box does not have the health sticker for the country the regional box was indented for.

Many times they rejected my posting because my asking price for an aged box was too high, even though, they themselves sell the same box, fresh at much higher prices on their site.

Doesn't Rob from FOH run that?

If your opening price is too high, you will not get bids from the records shown in previous auctions. Many sellers are from here, possibly the ones many have learned from. Like me. A platinum level seller go figure. I mean I have learned from the best, to clarify.

Rob is a founding partner among many retailers you know, including JJFox. If you think he sucks, go for it. Just wanted to tell you other stuff.

I wonder if they will ever start republishing their BR reports. There were available from 2022 but then they stopped.

Also, does anyone know what my "points" are worth if I'm not a seller? I thought I remembered reading that " future benefits would be announced", perhaps the points are intrinsically valuable.

This does not sound unreasonable to me. Authenticity and provenance are high on their list, and missing a key part of the packaging can be a reason for buyer concern.

It's an auction site, and they recommend that you set the reserve low. If you don't like the rules, then don't play the game.

I guess there are exceptions to the rule of "too high priced even if aged".

I was stunned yesterday when my Cabinet of 2000 Trinidad Fundadores, with only 8 sticks left in the box, sold for $1,830. Based on previous closed auctions, I expected a sale price of $800-$900....so I would say "yes" to your query.  :o
