It's no big deal Brandon. I am not upset. People will still buy and trade if the deal is right. I explained myself and that's really all I can do.

I have at least 5 great sales here alone. I would ask the buyers if they were cheated in any way.

man, i guess that makes you a Super-Seller!

Your lax mood about it being a big deal is mostly why im still here.. The second reason is maybe enough people will see this enough to question if they are getting robbed next time you overprice a box

I guess so but more than likely they'll see some great prices, feedback, and fast shipping without any hassles. Check my prior sales on here. Mind you I'm the one who was offered 10 box of PSD4's for $180. I'm not here to pass judgement on anyone. I respectfully declined and went on my way.

I don't know MiamiE personally, and have only had one transaction with him ever, but reading his posts for months on another board, and knowing how that community respects him, I feel confident in standing by him on this.

It appears to me, and I could be wrong, that the price raise was done only to let potential buyers know that he only wanted to trade, and not sell.  A price is required, but he wanted his intentions to be known so as not to waste other BOTL time by PMing about purchasing.  Was it the best way to communicate this, I dont know maybe not, but I DO NOT believe that his intentions were for profiteering or him being a "scumbag"

Profiteering here is not new.  I don't know enough about MiamiE to have an opinion or another but I, like many others, follow these threads closely.

It's not worthy of it's own thread, yet, but I am more curious when a member comes on here buying HTF, RE, EL cigars one month then the next month is selling them all.  Just wondered what people like Leo, Ron, etc. think about that.  It would be interesting to hear from some of the people who sold said cigars to see if the new prices match the prices they sold them for...

Hello. Not sure if this is the place to discuss it.. But just to briefly touch on your comment. I believe that cigar smoking is a dynamic hobby. These are plants, which are all subjected to different environments and storage conditions throughout their life span. Having said that, its normal to have tried a single from somebody (and like it), and spring for a box only to realize it wasnt what he/she expected.. So if they go up for sale, it isnt always because something is wrong with the box.. That should also mean that full disclosure should be brought up during the sale.. Theres also alot of people who buy boxes and sell a few fivers just because they didnt want a full box.. That, again should be a full disclosure issue IMO.. Hope that helps. Again, that might be worth another thread for an honest and open discussion in another thread..

take care

I've also seen fivers sold that could be considered "questionable" cigars, especially with CC's.  As near as I can tell, they go thru their box or boxes and pick out five cigars that have hard/soft spots, discolorations, or other issues and sell them for a few bucks over the per stick price of the box.  It appears to be a great deal based on the price, but when 2 or 3 of the sticks don't draw or get 2" runners it suddenly is not such a great deal.

I can take 2-3 bad sticks in a box of 25, but 2-3 out of five is a completely different deal.
