I have been sitting from the sidelines watching this BS accusation occur!! IMO to sit there there and make accusations that jxbr is a thief is absolutely obsurd! jxbr is highly respected by many on a few boards!! I have seen him go way up and above to extend a lending hand to mainly anyone needing help!! This information i am giving is not MO but it's the facts that clearly show in his actions on the boards!! For me being new to the cigar forum world he among a limited few is/was one of the brothers that has helped me and many in alot of different compacities!! So to sit there and start asasinating his character is nothing short of a moronic thing to do!!! I will speak for him and i believe i can here that he has WAY more important things to do in life than getting caught up in some childish behavior BS like this displays!!! Just to say it out loud more than half of you knobs wouldn't say this if this conversation was a person to person conversation!!! You will see many people come to his defense because he has built that type of integrity here!!! So my feeling is that you are just>>>>>>> :horse: LMFAO

You obviously don't know him that well then, as he was the one to bring this from another board to this board. Nobody else really cares about what happened over there and all was forgotten the day it happened as was he. Apparently JxBr got his panties in a wad and hasn't gotten past it. Too bad for him.

I don't see any thread over there about it, although I don't participate on that board.  If you are going to straight up call someone out you should come with your supporting evidence or bite your tongue.  There is a difference between trolling/little jabs and flat out calling somebody a scumbag.  It is a serious accusation and the burden of proof is on the accuser.  Also fwiw there is a difference between "I don't like the price" and "he is a gouging profiteer".

I had a nice, long response planned out, then I read insight's response.  Couldn't have said it better.  I will add that I've never known jxbr to gouge or profiteer.

So Vegan702 insults JxBr.  JxBr then directs guys to Vegan702, (who still has not offered any proof that jxbr has engaged in indiscretion of any kind), for cigars that he does not have &/or is not selling.  Seems like a mild response for having been insulted in the way JxBr was.  Then a bunch of guys who never post at OLH arrive & begin sniveling.  And jxbr, stepthirteen, and myself are intellectually inferior punks huh?  LMAO!

1) I never said jxbr was "intellectually inferior."  I said what he did here was a punk move.  And it was.  Sheer douchebaggery.

2) I never said you or stepthirteen were "intellectually inferior" (although your posts here are doing that just fine all by themselves).  I said you have reading comprehension problems.  I was actually trying to give you both the benefit of the doubt.  Vegan702 posted that jxbr was trying to rip off BOTL.  You and stepthirteen then FALSELY said he called jxbr a "thief" (note: neither of you ASKED whether he was calling him a thief - you SAID he called him a thief).  Stepthirteen's dictionary cut-and-paste proved that which anyone with a basic command of the English language already knew.  Namely: "rip off" ≠ "thief" and in fact the most common meaning is "bad deal; unfair price or rate" = gouge ≠ "thief."  Which sounds like the meaning here.  But for **some** reason you both lept to "thief."

I said I gave you both the benefit of the doubt and I did.  Because the only other plausible explanation for your posts was that you [b]intentionally [/b] misrepresented vegan702's post.  So congrats on that.

Since you apparently have absolutely ZERO comment on the real issue here which is what jxbr did at THIS website . . .

Please to explain how this excuses jxbr for wasting folks' time here at a completely different wesbite by having them contact someone for cigars that he knows damn well the person they are contacting doesn't have.  Just because he got his feelings all butt-hurt and stuff and thought this would be a cute little way to "get even" (and fuck the folks he used as tools to send the e-mails/PMs . . . )

Twist it around however you like all I asked for is clarification. In my cut and paste post you can see that to say someone was a rip off could just as easily be looked at as calling someone a thief as it could your view of the phrase. I can see Vegan posted his view and really that is all I aksed for. So why continue to insult those of us who have questions about the issue? Is it really required? Oh nevermind don't explain it because I am too inferior to understand.

For the record as Bill (Knuck42) stated we are not excusing rip offs, thieves, or anything along those lines infact the entire point of my post was to gain more insight (pun intended). I will quit  :horse:.

Heh this post really doesn't work well as a reply to mine.  I think you should try again and maybe provide some backstory to what all this is about.  I am giggling at your last line because it is so woefully ignorant.  I don't need to "pick sides" and I am not defending anyone.  Him dicking with your buddy by having some pm's sent is not a big deal frankly, buddies on these boards do that to me all the time as a joke and I don't freak out like someone stole my baby or something.  You (collectively) accusing him of being a scumbag IS a big deal and has more serious implications than a few unsolicited PMs from noobs too gullible to read through the lines.
