I really like Matt never saw any of this posts that were over the top.. After seeing how people were treated atthe last action and now this.  My money now goes to another charity.

If petecaps did get a lifetime ban, I believe I saw the post that did it. Someone attcked Ted Cruz (maybe petecaps) and "rich" posted a cut and past of the "no personal attacks" clause, to which Matt suggested that meant personal attacks against other CFers.

I saw that...this makes sense as the dialogue wasn't with RichL it was with douchion.

and the exchange was very tame...basically Matt called him out that the forum rules meant no personal attacks against other members, not public figures.

I posted on that thread and went back to see what others' perspectives were and the room had been nuked. It was the only thread with any activity at that time.
