I'm a smoker, but I collect because I don't know when I am going to get to smoke next haha. I haven't had a smoke yet this weekend, even though I made two trips to the B&M this week. ??? I usually smoke no more than 1-2 cigars a week, normally on weekends. Maybe 2-3 if the pals are getting together.
In my climate summer smoking is pretty much unbearable though. It's been known to be 100 degrees after midnight on the worst days. So with fall/winter around the bend, I'll probably be stepping up the smoking game.

I'm more of a sharer. I share with my friends. I always try to keep enough on hand for any situation.

nothing is safe in my humidor to be set on fire. I do buy boxes where some things are aged (but tried every so many months/years to see how they progress)

Definitely more of a collector than a smoker. I smoke probably 1-2/month at most due to time constraints and the wife :'(

Both, why not a collecting smoker....

Well said Fred.
I have plenty of cigars, at least 5 years worth and I smoke 5-10 per week. problem is I can't stop buying, trading. I have lots of HTF but will smoke them as they age. Sometimes it is hard to let them age. :bait:
Part of the fun is chasing, more enjoyable is trading, most satisfying is sharing with lovers of the leaf who have never tried a certain stick and/or who do not have the relationships to obtain the HTFs on a regular basis.
Sometimes it is difficult to decide what to smoke BUT nothing is off limits. :bounce:
I have met so many amazing people in the last 25 years due to my insidious addiction. W ether it was sharing a great smoke after surviving combat in my Army days, meeting up locally with BootCampBob (who I met thru OLH) at our favorite B&M, traveling to Mecca(as I refer to Holt's on Walnut) to have Phyllis make me a cappuccino while I buy, smoke, buy and buy some more, or hangout here sharing my passion with cyber-friends, it has been an amazing journey. I thank you all for your spirit and generosity.
Now, what to smoke with my coffee this morning..... Screw it, Don Carlos Lancero from the release in 2012 as who knows what the day will bring
