I have moved this thread to the BZ.  I'm going to make an exception to my normal practice of handing out suspensions because the complaints here were not based on prices but warnings regarding past bad dealings.  It's a thin line, but I think this is the best way to handle this.

On another note.  I'd be really careful getting alternative credit card processors involved with any of these transactions.  You run the risk of getting your own acct frozen too.

Does anyone have advice how I can stop payment and or get my money back .. I tried to do a dispute on pay*** and it was my payment was sent as a gift so you can not make a dispute if it was sent as a gift. I am going to call the bank first thing in the morning to cancel to see what I can do . Does anyone have any other advice on what I can do ? I dont want to lose the 140.70 I paid this guy.

Cancel the transaction and wait for the cigars.
If they are real, then you can pay him.  Otherwise, expect fakes.

I would make him trust you.  Not the other way around.

Just a suggestion.....

When making payment through P**P** if you choose the "gift" option there is no fee.
This is relatively new for P**P**.
- You do have to trust the person that you are dealing with because it is my understanding that as a gift there would be no recourse (Buyer Protection) if the deal fell through for some reason.
- Since cigars, tobacco, and many tobacco products are prohibited items using P**P** the point is moot.
- No Buyer Protection on prohibited items regardless of payment option.

You may have better luck working with your bank that the funds were paid from.
If you used a Credit Card as an "alternative method of payment" as P**P** allows, it will be much easier to dispute the charge.
You need to dispute a payment made for a purchase.
Open claims with both P**P** and your bank or cc company.
Doccument everything!
- Keep copies of all communication with "Brose", you may need to provide the copies to assist in your dispute.

Honestly, it will be easier to dispute charges for items not received rather than FAKES.
If it's a P**P** dispute you can only claim FAKE "bands"
You will probably need a "Cigar Expert" to sign a legal Affidavit stating that they are FAKE.
Be cautious with your description to P**P**, your dispute could cause your account to be placed on hold, or permanently closed if they determine that you are sending funds to accomodate purchase (or sale) of prohibited items.

Any way you look at it, it will be a PITA

If you get lucky the sticks will be authentic.
He sent me authentic FFOX before he tried to scam me with the BIG MONEY Super Rare HTF   :finger:   :finger:
- He did send his end first so that I could verify that they were legit; they were, then I paid for them.

Again, best luck
