Got an email from a not so good english person today wanting to buy a snowblower I hasve listed on Craigslist, "only" could pay with M/O and would send it to me and once I received it would come pick the snowblower up.....I replied, said gimme a call, "oh, I am away on business and can't call, I will mail the money order to you" lol Get bent...

Tell him to send a postal money order only. Cash it at the post office before you give him the blower, or he could always bring you cash. With the cash I would pick up some of those currency markers.

If anyone is trying to pay for something with a money order on Craigslist... there is NO cash, and he/she doesn't have any. There are hundreds of known craigslist scams...and paying for an item with a MO sent via snail mail tops the list. Most of the more well-known or popular CL scams are well-documented online.

Well I was at work this afternoon just minding my own business when I got an email from some poor gal in Africa whose family was all murdered by her evil stepmother, but she managed to escape! Apparently her father was a multimillionaire and she needs to send the 5.8 mill to someone in the states and she picked me! I get 1/2 of it btw... looks like my days of checking in here for good deals are over really soon!

Forget about it boys, I already wired her the 100k she needed to get out of the country with bribes, passports etc etc...she is clearly dealing with me so you can all forget about your get rich quick schemes....
