Not obvious to me at all. If he was posting on a cigar BB that is set up for conversations, tastings, "all things Cuba, etc... then yes it would be bad form.
This is a site that was set up for the purpose of SELLING CIGARS. That is what he is doing. The fact that some do not know him is an issue for the buyer and yes the buyer should be aware. That said, this is a site for selling cigars which is exactly what he is doing. Bad form? I don't think so. Buyer beware-definately.

This.
imo.

While I am not in a position to buy CGRs, I have done many deals with Flash and UNTIL said seller proves otherwise, I would work with him.
Mike pretty much nailed the cigar part of it.
After getting my moldy BHKs, I ask for pics and history of THF Ultra-premium stuff. Due diligence.
Finally, if you don't know this guy's score, ASK. For all you know they were a gift, doesn't like cigars and found out this was a place to sell them, or he smokes them for breakfast, lunch and dinner and is tired of them. Or, say, 1001 other explanations.
Work smart. I think the BZ is important and I'm glad it's here. But yeesh, this all seems pretty secretary water cooler BS. THAT SAID, I never got burned for 3K and if I did, that person's head on a stick would be my avatar. ;D

lol...only when it comes to dealing with mental midgets who run their backwoods minds in circles trying to figure out who the next scammer is.
I am not quite sure how rational conversation can ever be had by the mob mentality of some members. I gave my 2 cents...what else can I give? Should I have my post notarized? I've done numerous trades, box splits, etc with Luke...he has ALWAYS produced quality smokes and been very fair. We use the same vendors and sources so I know his stuff is legit.
What I still cant understand is how I post my experience and get attacked like I am supporting a scammer? My natural inclination is to point out just how fucking lame these guys are...if that means I insulted one or two of the assclowns from Cigar Family mafia or whatever the fuck you geriatrics call home...so be it...

For the record, I get mcgoospot's point and its well taken. Further I completely appreciate mbflash vouching for the seller. I believe that the experience of an established member with a new seller goes a long way in establishing credibility. I think it might have been to the seller's advantage if he'd have mentioned the fact that there were members here who could vouch for him. Had that happened, we probably wouldn't be having this discussion. Well, actually, I can only say that I wouldn't have made any negative comments.
