These were from late '01... the seller shipped them quick, and I paid about $10 a stick for them.  Yes, I knew they were from 01 when I bought them... but I didn't expect to get 5 plugged sticks.  That's why my first message to MG was asking him if he had personally smoked any from this box, or had complaints from anyone else he sold the others to.  I would have dropped this whole issue, if he took the time to respond back to me and issue an apology for selling me bum sticks... it would have ended there.  However, after 3 pms and being ignored for over 6 weeks (when he has been back here to sell more items 2 or 3 times since this started), I felt the need to do something, so that this doesn't happen to anyone else.

More items were listed last week, and I think 2 or 3 boxes that he is selling 5 packs from now are from the 99-01 era.

Now, I'm going to chime in for real on this topic.....I was looking for some Cohiba Sublimes EL 2004 and MG messaged me stating he had 3 he would part with...I asked if he would send me pictures for obvious reasons I wanted to have a look, MG sent me pictures as requested, the price was high BUT good luck finding these babies anywhere period and the price was where I expected it to be for these cigars...we started our communication here but did most of it through email and I had no isses communicating with MG...sticks arrived quickly and in perfect shape...

  I think what's at issue here is that master gates has been accused of knowingly selling 'fire sale' cigars as though they were normal vintage. Among other things.

He's back... but I don't think he is peddling his usual fire sale cigars this time.

FYI, he still never answered any of the 3 PMs I sent him, and that makes him a scumbag on my own personal Scumbag list.

Funny how he answers PMs in minutes when its sale related, but when its a problem, he can ignore those PMs all day long.

Damn, I knew I should have grabbed those Bolivar Petit Belis for $195 last year before they shot up.

Oh wait, I don't buy cigars to make money, nevermind.

Looks like alot of fire sale cigars got listed this morning... buyer beware.

yes... I agree to.  He isn't selling fire sale stuff in his latest post, but the guy is still a dickhead...

A couple boxes of fire sale smokes up for grabs again !!
