...and I get that once they are sold out they are sold out. Which makes it even worse. You buy cigars to SELL them and turn a profit instead of to smoke them, then you are a gouging douche nozzle for sure.
Maybe this thread will put an end to some of it.

Lets hope so and the only people who support it do it loudly using many different reasons, why else would they lower themselves to such worthless threads. Great Post!

As I was saying earlier, threads like this are helpful. No Google search is going to tell me who conducts themselves like a responsible adult, and who will just pout and throw insults at the first sign of disagreement. That type of person is one I don't care to deal with, and without the Battlezone I may have never known which members here are like that.

"LMK when you've actually come up with an analogy that fits...then you can talk smack."
Not much of a 'smack' talker, direct sensibility took over long ago. But 'favorite regular' steak house was used for a reason. The place where they know you and will turn the grill back on because of it. Where you realize you are putting someone out but they oblige none the less cuz you're 'family'.
May have been a poor analogy, as raising children has warped my perspective, but the following post sums this whole OLH internal turmoil up best. When reading this again, look at it as a parent watching their kid heading down a disastrous path believing its the path of righteousness. If you're not moved by Moki's sentiment then possibly this place has turned into Ebay Cigar Central...

I agree with you. I think people should stop bothering to try to help people here on OLH. The hostility towards people who are attempting to help you not get ripped off, using their own free time with no renumeration, is pretty depressing.
Ascribe whatever nefarious motives you like to people who are trying to help and protect you.
I mean that seriously; I think Harris (The Master), Phil (Insight), Gary (Grateful1), and myself (and others) just shouldn't bother.
The above folks can do whatever they want, obviously, but I'm personally just not going to bother. Common sense is all you need, gouging is acceptable, dancing bananas means the seller is credible.
Have fun.

[/quote] My pleasure. You know, I'd kinda given up to some degree with posting ,"gougers warnings", 'cause this new influx of noobs, (and there have been more then ever before), doesn't seem to give a shit, (about this issue and so many other important ones), but then there's always a positive comment from someone, a comment of gratitude, or a comment that somehow reinforces this that indicates that it is still seen as the right thing to do according to some. and therefore still needed. I hope the tides begin to turn and that more and more begin to see the value in this and start posting on it too.

Bill, I only hope you're right...but, in general, it seems that those who are blatant about their gouging, just ignore the BZ altogether and if they do read here, they sure as hell don't bother to post comments about their actions or try to defend those actions.
