I understand your point KPP and agree to some extent. But, keep in mind that without discussions like this on the net, a Google search wouldn't yield any results other than the inflated prices people charge. As for PMs, I haven't been around this board long enough to know who to trust, and threads like this are helping me to form those opinions.

Most of the people I've witnessed are simply complaining about price xxx being too high, with comments like "Damn, that pisses me off!", "that guy should go die in a grease fire".....or "enter I'm pouting in an open forum comment here".....

They aren't educating anyone about WHY the price is too high, or hey, you can get that box elsewhere for 1/2 the price (i've seen those, and THAT is helpful...i.e. the Federal 90th thread before it went sideways).

The point is, if you're relying on the "BZ" to come and gain information about pricing, you aren't doing a very good job of utilizing the information likely easily obtained at your home forum, or a plethora of other places. Is google easier? If you're looking for MSRP....maybe it is....that is IF you're not a member elsewhere and have other resources readily available to you. Which is why I also suggest PM'ing someone. Why not just do that versus the alternative? How many "is this a fair price" threads do you see as opposed to "let's go burn that gougers house down"....More of the latter, no doubt about it.

The constant complaining for the sake of complaining however....offering nothing of value.......where does that get anyone?

If you're gonna post a thread about pricing, be a solution to the problem at least...by offering VALUABLE input.....not "that pisses me off". That's how children behave....not grown ass men.

Maybe it's time people just sack it up and quit relying on the bitchers to educate them.  If you're so unsure of what you're possibly getting yourself in a transaction, you need to step away and do some research and find out the market prices.  Don't rely on some dumbass here to impose a self-righteous policing badge. 

This whole "BOTL" belief in that my price is your price is a load of BS.  If you wanted clearance CC's at $3/stick, then you should have bought them direct from the vendor for that price.  The reality is that for said person to REPLACE them, the real cost is not $3/stick, but if you turn around and charge $8/stick, you're a gouging asshole to some.  Then again, a lot of the whiners over CC's don't have the stones to place an order themselves as they only want the other guy taking the risk of those lovely letters, but still buy them at actual cost.   

The bottom line is that people like to sit on their wallets and then when everyone else has it, they want in the action, but are mad because the supply/demand curve treats them like a bitch because they waited.

When I got the info, I post it.  For example...

Tat M80s sold for $99 for a 15ct box.  1 week after the release someone tried to sell 2 fivers for $65 shipped each.

That means this person is trying to KEEP a fiver and make money.  If you are OK with that, then you are the problem.

That was clearly a gouging douche nozzle.  I believe that was the point of KPP's post.  Don't just post complaining about a price, post an alternative. This way people who want what is posted have an alternative source to purchase from.

...and I get that once they are sold out they are sold out.  Which makes it even worse.  You buy cigars to SELL them and turn a profit instead of to smoke them, then you are a gouging douche nozzle for sure.
