I have sent my kids $$$ FF for several years. It comes out of a checking account. I don't get charged and neither do they...fyi...paypal does not benefit $ wise on these transfers.

Hence people who paid this way did not pay fees to paypal per the terms of service and paypal lost fees. As a result the buyers sending funds have no leverage. Since I don't use credit cards to transact on Paypal I can't comment when those are used. If the transaction was with a CC and Paypal gets an upcharge on the CC transaction and misses out on the % fee they are still hence out of the fee all agreed to when they agreed to the terms of service. The buyer still has no leverage as Pay Poo..still didn't get their "entire" pound of flesh.

Sorry for all that lost out. I have used PP the same way in the past. No more.

I wonder, in the future, posting to whom the box was sold and then deleting it after both parties are satisfied, would at least keep the damage to a minimum...

If youre running a scam, why mark it sold?  Let the unfortunate keep rolling in like he just did...

I've got a 5er that says this scammer doesn't even get charged. Prior scammers always walk.
