Your choice. Some people need constant reassurance and some are able to just wait a bit more patiently.

As far as waiting for months, I think ninja previously owned up to some sloppy record keeping initially and can attest to some delivery failures/delays from the beginning. Otherwise it seems as of late he's delivering except in the instances where he took orders and got shorted once he was there and gave buyers refunds of the difference or add to the next trip.

Remember..."Cuba being Cuba" and decide what more you ask outside of daily email updates that don't provide any more information than the day before.

Please point to one of Dallas' "group buys" where everyone got what they ordered...just one time. And I'm not even referring to "on time"...just "all of the orders complete as originally agreed upon". Considering his markup, one would think that Dallas could go get cigars, bring them back, and know exactly what orders he can fill and which ones not. I'm not sure about the math skills of some folks...buying from Dallas, you are financing his purchases completely, as well as paying his transportation...months in advance. More power to those who like this arrangement, but let's be honest about track record and communication here. JMO...:)

*note...the above is not an attempt to tell Dallas how to run his business. He's entitled to get away with whatever folks are willing to allow. Just a questions and a couple of unsolicited suggestions :)

So, if it takes a mule to invest thousands of dollars in multiple trips throughout the year to procure said product, should he just eat that cost or does he become a "gouger" because he makes enough profit to offset the expenses?

I welcome you to offer the exact same services Dallas offers of his time and travel expenses to sell them at what Dallas is actually paying for them.

Why is this tread still going?  It's been known for a long time that timing and communication isn't the best with Dallas.  If you don't want to deal with this, don't buy.  If you want something most people can't get, this is a good opportunity.

You begin that all with "so", as if you are summarizing or clarifying what I said. You are being transparently disingenuous by cutting off the beginning and end of the quote of what I said. At no time did I say he should eat the cost. At no time did I say he was a gouger. At no time did I even say he shouldn't profit (sell them for what he paid). And as to you "welcoming me" to conduct business in any way similar to the way Dallas does ? Pass. My quote, in its entirety, explains why it's a poor business model. Ahhhh...now I see why you trimmed it...to suit the defense you wanted to post, without the inconvenience of addressing my content honestly. C'mon, did you think you were gonna get away with that ? Really ?

If anyone has smoked a BHK52 already, I'd love to hear your take on them.

Currently smoking one now and it's damn good. There was a prominent water spot halfway down the wrapper so I can see why it wouldn't typicall pass muster, but the flavor is all there. I only wish I had sprung for a full bundle. All this "drama" aside, absolutely worth the wait and cash.

I haven't done business with Dallas. He advertises here quite bit. Probably does some deals. He's a supporter of the site...ie less than $25 donated.

I don't think that's right or appropriate for fellas that sell on the site regularly to donate such a small amount.

I believe that you are mistaken. I have donated more than $25 and it shows supporter under my name.

I was asked to weigh in on this one.  By my records you have donated once in May of 2013, $20.

*Donations are current as of 3/22/15*
