This.
I think that is the very essence of what makes this site work.
If you want it fine, if not move on. Free market is the backbone of what makes this place tick

Not sure I would go that far, the backbone?  It is the backbone for what brings scum like TL out.  The ability to free wheel with no restrictions and taking advantage of greed.  Like any system there needs to be some balance.

Not sure this is true, as there are many other sites with more information, the buying and selling is why many are here.

We also have been told not to question prices in the TSBC area, although not possible any more because one can not post there, but Wade did also set up the BZ so people can say want they want.

Generally I am a believer in the seller can ask what they want for there product and just to move along if you believe it is to high(free market and all that stuff)

In general many of us know that BHK's can be had for the following including the CC fee:

BHK52's - around $275.00
BHK52's - around $330.00
BHK52's - around $365.00

and certainly some may know where to get them cheaper.

Why do the sell at such a premium, either you don't have the source or are willing to pay for not having to take the risk of confiscation.

It does seam like some people have probably made a decent buck selling these, but then again God Bless America. ;)

Of course, selling and buying is a major hunk, but I have learned more, and I am sure many others have too from the past few days than most can in a year on other forums. I am a good customer as my feedback shows, but I read these boards like a racing form to see what is happening in the latest world of cigar smoking.

The only place that can happen is where the highest form of buying and selling can happen... just as in real estate, wines, beef, etc.

When I tell my friends I buy and trade cigars on the internet, they all ask the same thing: Aren't you worried you are buying fakes? I say, the guys I read about everyday have more to worry about with me as I am the new one and the least knowledgeable.

I see now many of these are sold out; Many of these might be fake and so to have them sold by a guy here you trust is important; and here in Canucksville the box starts at $700. To order from a company like that risks duties and taxes brings them up to that price. Pee Yoo is all I can say about that.

Cheers!

So you would prefer to have wade put price limits in place?
You can sell your box of behikes for 325 and not a dollar more?
That would never work and smacks of nannyism..
If you dont like the price do what most of us do, shake your head, snicker and keep looking.  No need to ride your white horse in and try and save newbie tards from themselves.  If they wont do due diligence for themselves they deserve the screwing they will get.

Total agreement there... and fascinating that while the world basically moans about poverty, the highest bracket of luxury cigars sells out.

At what point did I say anything about price limits?  Are you going to talk for both of us now?  My point was there are people who have identified this place as a place to set up business.

As fare as "No need to ride your white horse in and try and save newbie tards from themselves.  If they wont do due diligence for themselves they deserve the screwing they will get."  That comment speaks volumes of what you feel about the posters here.  It's all about you and screw everyone else?  That is how things like TL go down, but then everyone has their own opinion.
