It may be high, but I have 4 left and they are OUTSTANDING.

We may have to compare if you come to Clampdown's.  I haven't had the UV ones, but the Varnished ones from that same year are fabulous and most folks I know prefer them over those UV ones.

...on those Partagas 8-9-8 Unvarnished. Probably just a coincidence that I got the same sticks, with the exact same box code, for about $170 USD this week. I'm sure that no one is getting these in the mail one week, then flipping them for a 70% profit on this board.

Probably just a coincidence, I'm sure.

I don't disagree with your sentiment; but it's my understanding that this site is okay with selling for profit.  So I'm not sure if it matters?

Probably it doesn't matter much, but it's a gentle nudge to be reasonable here. Plus the timing just caught my attention.

No real rules here in BZ either way. I certainly wouldn't have posted in the Buy Sell Trade forum.

Nice piece of work with the TL detective job, BTW. Thanks.

Moki, I don't care what anyone posts as an asking price for their cigars in the TSBC.  The rule on this site is that you can't make negative comments there, If someone wants to pay the price that's their business.  I personally don't care what someone pays for their cigars and I'm not getting into it.

That said, there are those that do care, and if you come here to the Battle Zone you can call someone out pretty much any way you want.  I'm not getting involved unless someone breaks rule 7 in the TSBC or does something in here like post porn or something that approaches/crosses legal lines.

After I posted this it disappeared from TSBC.

Probably another coincidence.

And please friends, you know I can't share sources even on pms.

No, it was from earlier today, just before I made my post.

The box code was CSU SS II.

You do relies what you are doing right? You are saying that these cigars where purchased for $175.00 and re-sold for more but you won't back it up with facts. I looked around a little for the cigars when they came up and the best price I found was $250.00
So if you want to stir the pot then you have to be able to back it up with facts like where the cigars where purchased so it can be confirmed or just let it go.

If you read the whole thread carefully, you will see at least two other BOTLs who know exactly what I paid for a box with the exact same box code. One of them got the same box code himself from the same source.

But I'm sure you're right, I just don’t "relies" what I'm doing.
