All the 2-3 dollar ccs are machine made. I'll gladly have NCs over Belveders or Guantanamera any day. However, the 45th anni and zombie Viajes have made me less a fan of Farkas.

Why, you did not like how they tasted?

I've stopped buying viaje after the exclusivo jar which was really good. I won't be buying from them anymore either. Tatuaje is starting to make me feel the same but I haven't given up on them yet only because they were my first box purchase back in 06. Just too many LE for my wallet and time chasing. There are plenty of great cigars widely available.

Just a few 2-3 dollar cc:
Party Mille Fleurs, Party Habaneros, HU epicures, ERDM demi tasse, and a couple more I can't remember. They're there, you just gotta look around. ;)

I wouldn't care if Quintero Brevas were advertised as foot-rolled; at $2 per stick, delivered, they're a great everyday smoke IMHO.

Guess I will be the first to say it: recent production habanos taste like shit. Ten years ago a Boli tasted like a Boli, etc. now all the flavor profiles have been 'muddled'. I for one won't be saying I'd take a boli"$4-7" or even "$7-11" habanos over a non. I'll take a tatuaje especiale any day over a mag 46 that tastes like a bolirasstecristagas.
Don't get me wrong, I'm not chasing any overpriced "limited" silly shit but Pete has some decent regular production stuff imo.

I think La Flor de Cano , albeit machine made, is a very tasty CC .

Viaje has the "C4" coming out while Tatuaje has the "M-80" coming out. :o
I think i'm done chasing. Tat has a couple REGULAR releases coming out that are much more appealing (Regios Reserva, Fausto (T110 Blend)).

...but Viaje had the TNT last year.
At the end of the day, fortunes were made and lost imitating others. Nothing new here. Same can be said about any industry.
My thing is, are you bitching about it because you can't score any of these LEs and are just bitter about it?
I buy fivers when I can just to taste. I don't go nuts with cigars in general because for me it is about enjoying them...not going gray over what limited stick I can get my hands on.
Enjoy the life guys...if we start bitching about a hobby we love, then how much do we really love it after a while?
