Thats me selling them. And unfortunately I didnt pay $14 for a stick and not everyone searches the entire world for the best prices. I paid $22.50 per stick on the RC184s. I dont mind the call out, but my intentions are not what you think. As you can see, I'm selling them for LESS than what I paid. Go ahead and list every single source for where you buy cigars from so no one will ever pay above MSRP or whatever ya pay.
BTW, the B&M here in Houston I went to on Thursday had 1 RC233 in stock....price $24! Want to give them a call?

What's the shop? I used to work in the industry, and have been to every cigar shop in houston at least once...not to mention, I grew up on the north side and live on the south side. I might be able to validate your argument, depending on the B&M.

These Kool-aid Tatuaje cigars are way overpriced no matter where you get them.
It seems like the vast majority of issues on a few boards are always about this brand. People begging and crying over these has been a great source of amusement tho. Thanks for the Battle Zone. Once again this is just my opinion.

Richmond Ave Cigars. Went there on Thursday. It was not in a cello, asked the lady how much, said $24. Said Ok, and put it back...
That was my first time ever in there. I did buy a few other smokes though...
On 2nd thought, I appreciate your help, but dont need you to validate my point/price. If they can buy every single cigar for MSRP or below MSRP, good for them. I'm not worried and dont need to sell to them. This is the BZ and I guess if he wants to tell ppl these are $14, thats fine by me. I got better things in my life to worry about.
Thanks again though!

Bottom line here is, I don't know you. Furthermore, I see a stick being sold for $20, that I just bought for $14 on Thursday. I'm going to let the community know that, as I'd hope most would do the same. We look out for each other, here.
Me posting about that in here is what the battle zone is for, which is why I didn't post in your sale thread. It also gives you the option to explain the reasoning behind your pricing, which you did.
End of discussion. Again, good luck with your sale and since you didn't post an introductory thread, welcome to OLH.

Just thought I'd add my two cents here as I've got a few friends in this thread. I know Shawn very well and personally and I know he would not be looking to make an extra buck or two on some HTF cigars. A lot of times people in other parts of the world will be able to acquire smokes a lot easier, and in some cases "cheaper" than what others can. This is simply being in the right place and time for the cigar you are looking for. Shawn's as good as they come and is a very generous brother of the leaf as well. I think this is just a misunderstanding and Shawn wants to sell some cigars that he actually did pay $22.50 a stick for. In fact if my memory serves me correct, Shawn did text me a few days ago telling me he was able to get the RC184's for $22.50 and to let him know if I would be interested.
Also Jeffery is a great brother of leaf as well. I've conducted several transactions with Jeffery and I've been more than pleased on every occasion. I see where Jeffery is coming from and wanting to "alert" the board, but as I said, not everyone is capable of finding a certain stick for the cheapest price. Sure maybe they can be found in cheaper shops if your willing to take the time and search for them. However I know Shawn paid $22.50 for these and is just looking to move the sticks and not make money on them. One of the bad things about forums is that things said can be taken out of context or the wrong way.
All good gents, a simple misunderstanding.
