I’m sad to report, after 5 emails on this site and 6 emails to their personal, and a dummy $.01 extra payment to remind them, looks like I am the dummy that got taken. 

I really do like to give folks the benefit of the doubt and it feels really bad.

The sellers name is “Yvonne.”  I guess they got my money which is weird because it’s not like I spent $30000.  I bought a partial box of Monte 4.  He won, I lost. 

I would caution others from doing business. 

That sucks!  Make sure you leave feedback on his profile.  If he/she/it ever makes good on the trade, you can always revise the feedback later.

Didn’t he reply to you? Maybe it’s still coming? Terrible way to do business. So weird to risk it all over a partial box of Monte 4. Pathetic.

Interesting that it was Yvonne. I've never done any business with them, but I did try and buy those Monte 4s. They replied back with "Someone got to them a few minutes before you. If they flake, I'll let you know. Punch 48 still available."

If they were just out for a scam/to make some bucks, it seems like they would've agreed to sell the box multiple times. idk, maybe I'm trying to give someone the benefit of the doubt and shouldn't. Regardless, hope that they actually get sent for you buddy.

Morning all.  Thank you all for the sympathetic ears and good advice. 

The saga continues . . .

(feel free to ignore if its oversharing but you've been here for this long . . . )

Last night I wrote, "Hey.  I hope this message finds you well.  If sending the sticks is too inconvenient to do, I'd be happy with a refund and we can both go back to our days." 

I received this as a reply:

"I was called away for work.  Got home at 1am.  I will get this done and dropped off in the morning."

At 7:48 am there was a screenshot of a box with a label on it. 

I'll let you know how it goes . . .

I never want to besmirch the name of others and if the box does arrive, I'll reach out again before leaving feedback. 

Yea I saw said user online this morning, hopefully they come through.  Crossing fingers.

I spaced on updating this thread.  The sticks did end up arriving and all is good.  I didn’t want to put anyone on blast, but honestly it was a good reminder for me to always keep up good communication in my dealings.

In retrospect, I don’t think I was ever upset that the sticks took a long time to ship - heaven knows I don’t need any more.  I was sad that I sent 8-10 unanswered messages.  Even a quick “out of town for a week and I’ll get around to it when I am back” would have been awesome.
