I recently purchase a box of mag 48 el 2009 for $175 from Master Gates.
Package was sent out in a timely manner , complete with DC# and Master Gates promptly replied to all my PM's.
Package was received in great condition. Packaging was top notch. Cigars was in great shape.
I have yet to smoke one, but packaging and smell indicate it will be a good smoke and 99.9% authentic habanos (0.1% unsure cos I am not the undisputed habanos authority)
In short, it was a good deal for me. The deal went smoothly.

I have dealt with Chris for many years in trades and buys, he has always been a stand on BOTL.
But along these lines. If anyone wants to take the full risk of buying illegal products and they want to make and extra $20 here or there, or pay for there 5r or box, then so be it. They are taken the risk, using their credit card info and doing all the work. You just sit back and get them from others.

I've dealt with Chris over the years as well and agree wholeheartedly. If someone wants to buy a box of CCs then he can always man up and purchase them from a vendor......................for which there is always some risk involved if you live in the US. As for spitting into 5ers, an extra 5 bucks or so is chump change and not an issue with me as I'm getting to sample the cigar before making a more expensive box purchase.
That said I've never Known Chris to be a gouger!

I have dealt with chris in the past as well. A stand up guy for sure..
I just dont understand the entire gouging angle everyone keeps getting their panties in a wad over. If i buy a product it is mine to do with as i see fit. If u dont like the price. Feel free to counter offer or take a pass if its too high and no one bites it usually gets lowered.

Typical. Guy sells a few boxes at regular prices and suck ups back the lieing gouger for the cost of a decent price on a stick. Pathetic. This guy is a gouger, a lier and a scum bag. Hell, look a few posts up, he's even lied on this thread. Oh, but wait, he sold you a box at an acceptable price so the liw is null and void and he is a saint. Just pathetic!

And the chimp screaming continues.....
So if you bought cigars on sale with a free box and you wanted to get rid of the free box you would just give them away?
If i bought them they are mine and any free goods from that purchase are mine as well.. If i wanna sell them for a profit its my call. If you dont want to buy its your call.

My call? Really? Wow, thanks stogiedouche. I might never have known that had you not set me straight on that.
You seem really, really good at stating obvious and irrelivant facts. Unfortunately that's a fairly useless skill in the grown up world. Maybe you could go back to nursery school where such behavior is valued.
