Someone gifted me a few J.O.'s from 2015 if Im corrrect. Definitely refined but really didnt notice anymore "built" strength in them, or fullness.
Well, could be me, my wife says I have no tastebuds left from hot sauce, bourbon and cigars....

Re: Johnny-O WF 1966 and more
Been a fan for years. I have some for pretty much each year back to 2011.
If they were good when they arrived (and 95% are good when they arrive) then they just seem to get better with age.
The 2011 were super duper strong when I got them..really dark and too oily. I tried on a couple of months ago and it was great.
The milder JO cigars become really sublime after 7 years. Awesome aromas.

Re: Johnny-O WF 1966 and more
Just this year I started ordering some JO’s. After my first bite, I was hooked. I think I started with an order of WF Corona gorda’s, then a few packs of the LC line, and a few different EL’s and TTT’s. The EL Siglo de Oro that was briefly available, incredible! I’m still kicking myself for not ordering two or three bundles of that. Overall, though, the LC lineup might be my favorite that I’ve had so far. These are all fresh, new from 2023, and I have mostly left them alone after smoking 1-2 of each off the truck, so I can’t say how they are tasting at the moment. They might be in the blah phase at the moment, or they might not be. I have gotten some older J-O’s from Garbandz, very generous guy himself, with about 4 years of age, and I can tell that the years are very kind to these smokes!
I have refreshed an old humidor I wasn’t using, and it’s now full of different J-O’s. I’ve dubbed it my J-O-idor.
