I don't recall if it was Ravi's or another site, but they had a note in their FAQ which said if you are ordering cigars to China please limit your order to $5000 or less. They are willing to spend a $100 a cigar much like they used to smoke $100 packs of Panda cigarettes.
And Cuba is so broke and hard up for cash they have to try to squeeze every buck from their exports that they possibly can.

This isn't going to get any better and I'm sure a good majority of stock is going over to China.

Gurkha has been hyping their bullshit for years. So far, only newbies seem to fall for it.

Cannot remember who the trade was with, but when cigars arrived by post the extra with it was a giant Gerk in a glass tube. We call them brown pickles. (If it was OLH member, hey, thanks).
Recently was in Chicago with guys for a fabulous cigar smoke all afternoon.
Brought the brown pickle and presented it to one random attendee and said he was the winner!
He will now present it at his next herf to someone.
Yeah.
