[/quote]Yeah,  definitely didn't want to cancel the deal and trade them to someone else,  but after a month of no contract, I was beginning to think that he had lost interest.

Our mutual friend texted him since he hadn't heard from him in a month either and was also concerned about him, and turns out that he has just been really busy with work and life. So that's good news.

He contacted me finally and is still interested,  so we are still good to go on a trade.

Thanks for everyone's input, as I have had this happen before with other people I don't really know and have no experience with and never know when its been a reasonable time to consider the deal off.
