Same.  I'd much rather pay the fee to ensure some measure of consumer protection on my purchase.  FF option has none of that.

Even if you pay the fee, I doubt that they would refund a buyer for undelivered or damaged CCs since these are a prohibited product under their policies.
Hey! How come "Habana" is written on here with a Sharpie ?!?

Quite possible...but if I got ripped off and filed a claim against the seller - and PP discovered it was a prohibited product - then I've burned the seller with PP, preventing him from doing same again to others.

I thought I read somewhere that the reason many sellers only accept PPF&F is so that they have some protection as a seller.  I believe, it might have been on Facebook sites a couple years ago, or here, not sure, but guys were buying cigars, paying with PP with the fees and then weeks after they received the cigars, filing a claim with Paypal and issuing a chargeback for a bogus reason.

I think some guys ended up getting screwed out of both the cigars and the payment and some decided that at least with PP F&F, its much harder for a buyer to pull that type of scam.

There are quite a few very honorable people on here that I use FF all the time without hesitation.

VRAT was honorable til that one transaction. Sellers go bad. I've made at least 60+ stellar transactions with one seller on here but I would never pay F&F.

V RAT was never honorable. Look at his inflated prices. He had also been on here for a year or 2. I should've said long time honorable people.

Checked PP, F&F still there unless account is originated in (or sending to) another country.

If a seller specifically states F&F only, why would you agree on a deal with that person and then go against the seller's payment requirements?  I understand why you do it, but as someone mentioned above, some educated sellers require F&F so they don't get ripped off.  Might want to take your own advice and simply move along if a seller asks for F&F only if you aren't okay with it...

Disagree.  IME, sellers usually state F&F because they don't want to pay the fee that PP charges to sellers.  I don't use F&F ever and I have yet to receive a single complaint from a seller when I've sent the asking price (plus 3% to cover the fees) using PP purchase.

Everything is negotiable here.  Just because a seller defaults to F&F doesn't preclude flexibility.

As said above, scams happened where buyers received cigars, then filed a claim with PP and got their money back.  Some sellers stopped accepting PP altogether, some required F&F.  Yes of course everything is negotiable here.  But if you agree to a deal when the sellers says F&F then pay Goods covering fees, you didn't negotiate, you went against the deal.
