4 to 6 weeks getting thru the system to home base is going to be the norm for a while.
order with caution...remember 2010? Those who forget past history are the ones most likely to repeat it.
Kinda like what we're dealing with right now and the current disaster of an administration rowing the boat.
Anyone else seeing int shipping issues?

Re: Anyone else seeing int shipping issues?
i actually don't know what happened in 2010. I started ordering cubans late 2010, early 2011. And unfortunately all my orders are from early march really before the awareness of covid ramped up in the US

Different story...shaping up to the same type scenario.
In 2010 they packed all the incoming commercial packages into a few commercial jets and they all landed at the same airport in the same jet. And you don't think with the current situation that isn't possibly happening right now? Very few flights incoming from europe and EVERYTHING is getting packed into them and landing in one spot.....NY.
Has anyone on the west coast received shipments thru LA coming in from europe?
I used to....haven't in almost 6 weeks now. Everything coming in thru NY for me.
Just saying....
If you're not familiar with the 2010 scenario just google 2010/O'hare airport/cuban cigars.
I'm so glad this whole thing is just a democrat hoax to undermine the current administration during an election year. Otherwise there might be almost 100,000 dead from this hoax.

You're one of the special kinds of stupid huh?
This is much different than 2010 which was dealing with an actual parcel bomb plot. There needed to be extra scrutiny on packages. No actual parcel threats here that we know of.
I've receivedn2 packages in the last 2 weeks, all go though Chicago ISC. Sat at ISC for a while, but landed in under a month. Patience will be key. Also, probably not a great time to be ordering things that have to go through ISC in NY, Chicago, or SF.

Now you want to call me stupid?
For what? Voicing my opinion?
You're acting like the 4 year old told to go sit in the corner.
Is Chicago the west coast? I suggested most were coming into NY and you corrected me.
Now try to grow up.

Ok, boomer.
Go have another drink and take a chill pill. And your opinion sucks. Not that you care.

Re: Anyone else seeing int shipping issues?
Even our domestic mail is running slooooooooooooooooooooooow adding even more to the long waits
I was expecting some packages today that informed delivery on the USPS would be here by 8:00PM
But, no show!!! and probably still at my local post office.
Just going to be a reality until everything is back to normal on ???????
Probably a lot of people everywhere working their butts off due to sick call ins and even people might be hospitalized.
We are in a slooooooooooooooooow motion movie. Being patient here but just hope frustrated employees are not treating these packages like soccer balls.
They do deserve some respect and recognition though. At least our commerce blood flow is still moving. My wife told me some of the European countries and I believe Russia have a mandatory shutdown of their postal systems.
