Just an FYI. Buddy of mine recently received a box from London of the La Reina RE from Ajay. He smoked the banded version and one of Johns side by side,  said they are carbon copies.

Anyone tried the "H&F Release" as compared to Johns earlier release of the La Reina?

Sorry I didnt make the distinction. The bundle I got was "HF" in John's listing. Sandmans comments look like a side by side shows these to be exact same in profile. I'm assuming those are from the same shipment as my bundle.

lol...nope man the smokes do all the talking...Ive posted my thoughts for a while on these..that aint what its about...just consistently awesome cigars...pretty simple.

I have smoked many of John's cigars over the past 8-10 years, and some were good, some not so much, but still on the level of other "customs" for a smoker that may smoke 5 customs a year, and some custom rollers I jsut do not liek their blends ... never really had any of JO's that stood out, or were "great" to the point of posting a thread over.  I guess I need to see what all the hype is about.  Aren't La Reina ERDM's ?  Not sure if those are even being rolled at El Lag...can anyone confirm based on a boxcode they have seen or received?
