Bill, that is the newer release, and the same box that is the spark for this debate. I really need someone to post a box of an earlier released box, called Belicosos, as shown in the picture I posted above. So if you have that box around, that you have smoked through, please post it up when you have a chance. Also, if you can provide some details with some level of confidence that these 2 boxes are the same release, as I have tried to explain numerous times to the buyer without any luck, that might just put this issue to rest.

'My only other option might be to talk to someone within H&F who can confirm authenticity based on some pictures that I would be willing to send, but I have no idea where to even start on that front.

I have some more pics from another box that matches the OPs. It’s definitely known that the boxes had both labels. I’ll post the pics as soon as Tapatalk decides to cooperate.

Thanks Fred.  That box looks identical to the one in question here.

I think if Bill finds his empty box of Belicosos and posts some pics of that, this issue should be closed out, and any questions of authenticity should be laid to rest.

Hopefully a few people will chime in on thoughts regarding this box. I was never worried, at all, regarding authenticity here, as I know the provenance, but the buyer formed his opinion and I felt that I could do nothing in the way of convincing him.

Maybe this happened for a reason, because I think this box of cigars is beautiful...

i have 3 boxes of these left, two with belicosos and one with finos: I have been through at least 5 boxes of these with and without the finos... same cigar, I am 100 percent sure...
First box:

Fantastic pictures and cigars guys. RA’s are my favourite and I have not seen these before.

Why would anyone even attempt to fake these? Not a market if the obscure item is not known or appreciated on a large enough scale. An example of a perfect target for faking I’d Monte 2 or Cohiba Robusto IMO.

I will be refunding his money today minus my original shipping costs, now that the cigars are back in my possession.  So, depending on how he handles his end of the feedback, will determine whether I call him out or not.  I didn't need this drama, and in the end, the buyer wasn't educated on this particular cigar, and he made an extremely quick judgement based on his limited knowledge, and he didn't even allow me any time to gather evidence or show proof of authenticity before the cigars were back on the way to me.

I have always tried to be fair with people, and I think this is the best means of closing this out.  I did tell him to please never buy anything from me again.
