I hope the new FDA regs don't ruin it for everyone.

If you want to make sure you get your shot at the golden egg so to speak you need to plan to attend Thursday.  Some things were sold out Friday by early afternoon.  When they don't limit purchase some will make pigs of themselves.  Human nature I guess.

That aside its a great event.  Nice to see and catch up with some folks.

Made the drive down on Thursday last year.  Not a big Opus smoker but love the Casa Fuente blend.  Went down with plans to bring back two boxes of the original Casa Fuente corona gorda.  Came back with none.  None made the trip to Philly.  They had some other sizes such as the Piramides and maybe a robusto or double robusto but ended up passing on those.  I believe they had the other Casa Fuente blend as well, the one with the yellow foot band, but no corona gordas in that size either.

If you enjoy Opus, Anejo, Hemi Maduro, HTF Opus, etc, it is worth the trip and the experience.  Opus at MSRP is easier to find now a days than it was a few years ago but being able to grab Opus Sharks at $15 or so apiece and Love Affairs for under $14 is still a rarity.

I made it 2 years ago. The event was great. Lots of hotels near by and plenty to do in philly.

What are the dates for this years event?

Thursday September 22(Northeast location) and Friday the 23rd(Center City).

So with it being next week... Who is all going?!?! I need a helper... Haha

Ill be there Thursday for sure Friday I may just sight see or hit up the 2nd day downtown. Fly in Wed evening from Cali.
