When you consider that the practice of most religions incorporates brainwashing techniques, peer shaming, and socialization to operate in a position of power, it's easy to imagine them all being rather similar. Further consider that most religions began as a "cult", and you should understand more about the genesis of these control structures.
I don't judge people who believe different things. I don't care to debate theology. I deal in facts. The facts bear out that throughout history, most atrocity has been carried out in the name of some god or set of theological principals.
One could argue that Nazi mysticism falls into this category. Though it wouldn't appear to be a religious movement on the surface, evidence would suggest all the requirements for a religious agenda are satisfied. While the thought of the extermination of millions of Poles/Russians/Jews boiling down to essentially a Nazi version of the crusades, may make Christians uncomfortable, it is factually sound.
The point of my ramblings are this. Believe what you want. Don't let your beliefs encroach on mine, and I'll do the same for you. Don't be a dick. And certainly don't (as most major religions have at some point in their history) use your beliefs to justify the taking of life or liberty from anyone.
And Fuck ISIS.
