You think it'll be any better with a RINO?
[/quote]
I think a RINO will at least appoint a scotus justice who will keep the constitution in mind... without that the 2nd amendment is as good as gone.
With that said, the only GOP candidate I supported prior to this news was Rand.

My faith in the American voting public is worse than the assholes we re-elect. What does that tell you?
People have become lazy and complacent and will ride the candidate promising the greatest number of voters more free stuff. The days of ever electing a conservative in the WH are over. Reagan was the end of it.

Obama already has his guy. Sri Srinivasan is a shoe-in. It's going to be impossible for them to have an adequate excuse for why he was unanimously accepted by the Senate to be on the appeals court but not fit for the Supreme Court, especially given his vast experience arguing cases in front of the court. He's got everything you look for in a SC justice, ideology notwithstanding.
McConnell has no leg to stand on, by the way. He's the same guy who voted on Kennedy's nomination back in 1998 without a peep of dissent over replacing a justice in an election year. Want to be a "strict originalist?" Where in the law does it say the president shall nominate a justice, except when it's not politically expedient for his opponents?

He can use both of Robert Bork's legs if need be.

Apples and oranges. Bork knowingly broke the law for political purposes.

A good cigar and a good drink on the back deck by the lake...if that doesn't make you relax, nothing will!

I wouldn't bet against them selling out the party. They've done it his entire presidency even when they controlled congress.
