That's true. I normally would have spent 6 months researching how to do everything before attempting to use it. This time, I skipped all of that and went for it. Reading the forum, I've realized my lather skills suck but I now know how to do it better. I also ordered some poraso off Amazon and I'll get a new brush to replace the synthetic one once I get better.

I don't think I'll move to Straights or Shavettes anytime soon. I'll probably look at a DE as a next step in the coming months.
