It's probably important to keep in mind that most people aren't able to get those prices, even well respected retailers who sell on here have been selling opus at way higher prices, like angel share robos for 500. So when some people list opus for higher, they could easily just be trying to break even

This is a msrp guide so the smart buyer can see what the price should be. If someone wants to put their head in the sand, I'm sure some preditor here would take advantage and whisper sweet nothings into that persons ass. :bangin:

No shit. A more reasonable list would list "going rate". To use the prices from two shops, directly connected with the Fuentes, as a benchmark for pricing is beyond absurd. Take two shops in California and that list will be about double per item. To use the extreme low is as silly as using the extreme high. I have most of the cigars listed, and multiple boxes of some, and I paid more than every price that's been listed so far, except for the BBMFs. In most cases, I payed the "going rate"...established by the market. I doubt that Wade will make anything of this sort a "sticky". I believe that he cares even less than I do about what the Price Police think. Yes, the bitching done about what other people do with their own property can be amusing...in small doses :)

Hutch, I couldn't agree more. The point of this thread is rather ridiculous as any means other than what they were in 2015, at that specific event, to a very small handful of people. There are thousands of people on this board and others. What approx 50 cigar forum people paid at a special event is completely insignificant to other sales. Plenty of people are completely happy paying $500 for a box that cost a retailer around $300-$350 wholesale. See Rahul's post(s). No issues with his customers. The fact that person A wants to get involved in a transaction between person B&C is stupid. Just because you wouldn't pay $500, doesn't mean someone else SHOULDNT, not to mention they are happy to do so. So WGAF.
I do like this information as a reference though. Because I tend to forget that sh*t. I also liked it when people would post pics over at CF of the menu at the event, because it made it easy to order from and was less work for the mule.

The point of this thread is to show what Holts prices were this year. It is stated by me in my initial post. I would also like to keep it updated. Rahul sells stuff here usually below msrp. He had a box of angel share listed here below Holts prices. This thread is for information, and education. I barter with my local b&m regularly because I know what the prices are, and I have been a customer for 26 plus years. There is always some wiggle room.
